Kia India has announced that the All-New Kia Seltos has achieved a 5-star rating under the Bharat NCAP rating system. The model has emerged as the highest-scoring internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle tested under the program to date.
The certification was presented during an official ceremony by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).
During testing, the Kia Seltos safety rating recorded 31.70 points in Adult Occupant Protection. This is the highest score among ICE vehicles tested under Bharat NCAP.
For Child Occupant Protection, the vehicle scored 45.00 points, placing it among the highest in this category.
The combined score reached 76.70 points, making it the highest overall scoring ICE vehicle under the Bharat NCAP rating framework.
The performance is supported by the K3 platform used in the All-New Seltos. This platform has been developed with a focus on structural strength and crash energy management.
